Students learn about the importance of Soloman’s Temple and how it&'s initial destruction led to an increased value of holy texts.

This lesson uses drama to encourage students to explore a range of creation stories from across the globe. They are also encouraged to reflect on whether or not these stories can be useful for learning about other cultures.

This lesson provides an introduction to the nature and function of Christian prayer. It has four tasks including analysis of different types of prayer and an exam style question linked to the new GCSE syllabus. A homework task related to adoration and thank giving is also included. Objectives are differentiated and there is an extension task for more able students.
